A Funny

Well, this recent cool down, I don't think is Climate Change related. The Typhoon messed up the entire system with its record low extra-tropical barometric pressure. Snow before Thanksgiving up here in Ohio isn't unheard of. The below zero wind chill, however, is very unusual.

The record low for today is 21 degrees. That could get beaten by 10 degrees. In fact, the record low for any day in November but the 30th may be broken today. And that'll be true through Friday, when the temps return to being more seasonal. That'd put us possibly under par with '91 and '70 when record lows were established for three consecutive days. This spell will likely give us 5 days.

If all that cold is coming down here from the Arctic, then one way or another heat is traveling from the more temperate zones to the Arctic. One way or the other, this is part of the climate change process.

What I meant was that a massive low pressure typhoon messed up the atmosphere over North America. Unless climate change can be blamed for that typhoon, this is less climate change and more an odd chain of events leading to this cold weather in the US well before winter.
