Saw a guy do this at Burning Man. Pretty cool -- but he had the forethought to use a tether.

I don't understand how this guy intended to land at Stampede Park if he had no altitude control. He brought a parachute, after all. How could a slingshot and a few sandbags have slipped his mind?
