It was very hamerryghan for a British wedding.

Yeah, I know, it isn't much, sorry, but I think that's all I can come up with about this very important event.

Hey, just try it if you think it's easy! :glare:

Zzzzzzzz...*snort*....*cough, cough*......zzzzzzzzzzzz.

Why are these weddings still treated as important events? I never understood.
Well from a monarchy perspective one could see the William marrying Pippa or whatever her name is as important - if one cared about the monarchy that is. Royal heirs and all that. But Harry's is a cadet branch, so that's an even lesser deal?

I guess many Americans are excited because the wife is American. I guess we are a family vacation plane crash away from having an American King...

USA! USA! USA!

I was at work when it was on. Just for my own personal satisfaction I put on a movie in the background, just so I had a screen of mine not showing the wedding. Didn't watch it, just silently playing in the background.

Petty, but I've never forgiven Charles and Dianas wedding taking over the only two channels available back then. :p

Ya, my mom and sister live in London and they had a whole big party for this where everyone dressed up and everything. They tried to make me give a shit but I couldn't work myself up to it. The news stations here were all agog about it because the actress used to work on a show here in Toronto. They tried to make me give a shit but I just couldn't work myself up to it.

Basically, I just couldn't work myself up to giving even the first shit about it.

Is it that women like weddings and a royal wedding is the female super bowl? Men like to watch other men get dressed up and play with their balls. That's kinda silly, too, isn't it? Enjoy whatever you want to enjoy; ignore the naysayers.

Also ties into the fantasy of a commoner whisked away in a carriage by a handsome prince, where they live happily ever after.
