There were fierce clashes at the U.S. Supreme Court Wednesday and a fierce critique from Chief Justice John Roberts afterward upon learning about statements made by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer outside while the arguments were taking place inside.

Addressing a crowd of abortion-rights demonstrators, Schumer, D-N.Y., referred to the court's two Trump appointees, Neal Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, and said, "You have unleashed the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions."

Chief Justice Roberts was not very happy with Senator Schumer's remarks.

With everything going on in the news these days, most Americans have no idea that the religious right is, after over four decades of trying, quietly on the verge of ending Roe v. Wade as we know it. The case is being heard March 4, and is called June Medical Services vs. Russo. Even though the Supreme Court ruled, a mere four years ago, that the state of Texas couldn't use medically unnecessary regulations on abortion clinics as a backdoor way of banning abortion, Louisiana thought they'd take another go at it.

The difference between now and then? The court has some Trump appointees.

But, as reproductive health researchers Carole Joffe and David Cohen argue in their new book, "Obstacle Course: The Everyday Struggle To Get An Abortion in America," for many women in America, it's already a post-Roe world.

Abortion is much more available in some areas than in others.

Some opponents of abortion make arguments like what abortion providers want "is providing as many abortions as possible" and being "free from government oversight." But these are the sorts of people who whine and moan about how much governments persecute poor innocent businesses.

This sucks having this issue linger forever. Abortion is murder that should be allowed - in this I agree with Bloomberg's "kill it" remark, because a fetus is a life worth killing.

He sure doesn't say anything like that when Cheato rips into judges for upholding laws, not being white enough etc...
