Apparently, Gen. Kelly didn't like his style. Kelly wants a clean slate and professionals who don't go ape shit like the Mooch did. It's going to be interesting to see who else gets canned.

It's the GOP philosophy of lean and efficient government. You only need a certain number of positions, so if you hire somebody, you need to fire someone else or the government will get bloated and inefficient. Having the new guy choose who to kick out is just a fun job perk.

Kelly better hope that he doesn't piss off the new gardener who's starting on Thursday, though.
