Backwards Music

I was listening to NPR today at work. On it they had a special show with the theme "backwards." This week's episode had people on it who like to listen to music backwards. I heard a clip of a bunch of them partying and hollering to the music.

Anybody ever hear of this? Sounds cool. This could mean new, innovative styles for us in the future. Albums could be sold with the intention of being able to listen to it frontwards and backwards.

BTW, back in the 60s-70s, lots of people were listening to records backwards. Supposed to be messages that could be heard when played backwards.

Backwards music sounds trippy. Jimmy Hendricks knew that. I never knew why he played that way until I heard him after eating a little paper square with a cartoon printed on it.
