Gay marriage decision alleged to be worse than slavery decision. Plus he makes it sound like he's being forced to gay marry. His rights really are not affected by someone else having rights. He can go on thinking the gay marriages are not real, Christian-endorsed marriages if he wants to, whether or not they are supported legally.

If there is anything in common between the case of slavery and gay marriage, it's that slaves were not treated like real people and insofar as marriage, Roy doesn't want to treat gay people like people either.
 
But the good news is that he'll be a Senator next year, so he'll have an opportunity to make the correctly make the law in the way that he wants it to be interpreted, as opposed to interpreting laws in an incorrect manner.
