COLUMBUS, OH - The Neuropsychologist from Columbus, Ohio had been quickly rising in the ranks among potential Democrat hopefuls since the NCAA tournament began. Originally, a dark horse among dark horses, after two rounds, Gregg Nigl had managed to do what no other person had in the nation, predict every game correctly.
This achievement came to the attention of many quickly and all of a sudden PACs were formed to help Nigl explore a potential run for President.
Unfortunately, an incredible comeback by Purdue sent Nigl's bracket and Presidential hopes out the window.
The unlikely event of a perfect bracket has long since been the dream of millions of Americans annually, but no one ever has come close to being able to pick the winner correctly in every game. The rarity of the event is why Nigl came to the attention of many DC insiders who knew that if Nigl could correctly pick the winners in 63 games, he would be a certain front runner in the DNC come the election in 2020.
According to DC insiders, while Nigl's 50 straight wins was a record for the NCAA hosting site and was "inspirational", it was not what would be required for a Presidential candidate in a major party. Nothing short of the 63 would do.
Nigl was noted as being disappointed, however upbeat about the future and looks forward to continuing his career in neuropsychologism and aiming for the perfect bracket next year which could again catch the eyes of DC insiders for the 2020 election.
