Canada looks at nationwide ban on handguns and assault weapons

About time...my home country, Scotland, did this decades ago...

After a particularly dangerous summer of gun violence in Canada and two mass shootings sparking public outcry, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has done something that would perhaps be unthinkable in America: he’s called on government officials to examine the impact of a full ban on handguns and assault weapons.

Well, things are different in Canada. The jackbooted thugs the government hires to oppress people are Canadians as well. That means that when they come to your door to drag you off to a re-education camp and turn you into a gay muslim atheist, they'll ask you politely if you'd like to come with them to that and if you say no, they'll apologize for interrupting your morning and leave.

There's less of a need for violent resistance when that's the situation.

You can’t. We took away all of their internet connections so they couldn’t engage in subversive behaviours. Since they didn’t have any guns, it was really fucking easy to do.

About damn time we got guns off the streets. Mentally unstable people shouldn't have access to them.

Personally, I blame the Americans. They are bringing guns, obesity, they're racists, and some of them, I assume, are good people. We need to build that wall. Canada's side will be a giant mirror so we can revel in our majestic splendor.
