I just checked three different news sites and see nothing about this. The only exception is a poorly translated site that appears religious in nature spouting off about End Times. Glad to see the U.S. isn't the only nation full of those assholes.

Agreed. I think that they are too smart. The US and other countries are getting bogged down there. If they were smart, they'd just wait for the dust to settle more.

It's all true but China does have muslim terrorism problem too, and there were reports of Daesh in China.

I haven't seen confirmation of this either. However, do note that in Nov and Dec there were a lot of articles about the possibility of this happening.

ISIS has threatened China, and they are no doubt concerned with developments in Iraq and Syria where America has been helping radical violent Islamists more than harming them

I question wisdom of using foreign boots on the ground. Iraq and Afganistan became dependent on US soldiers too much.

Totally agree. There will never be peace in the ME until the moderates there fight for it and earn it. Foreign troops simply mobilizes the radicals and weakens the moderates.

Mellow out.
What I mean is that China doesn't do shit when it comes to international involvement. The world's an ugly place and they've let other nations pay the price for that ugliness without ever contributing to it. At the same time, they've benefitted from it. They're one of the permanent members of the UN Security Council but certainly can't be counted on to contribute anything to the more dangerous things the UN is involved in.
But I suppose them busying themselves with wiping out pacifist monks is preferable to helping quash international terrorism.
Yay. Go China.

The world is ugly because America bombs places and puts puppets in place that make things worse. When Saddam was in power the money from oil was used to provide education and healthcare for Iraqis. After America went in the healthcare system and education system fell apart. Now Iraq is ugly but that is not China's fault.America put in a sectarian puppet government that violently put down peaceful protests. Now we have ISIS. The reason ISIS has support is that they distribute the oil money to people who join their cause. Young Iraqis got nothing from America except being shot at, unless they joined the puppet government
Not from Iraq or Syria where ISIS is. Or North Africa.
The UN was a good idea but unless nations relinquish their claims to be exceptional and above the law it is of limited usefulness.
China is trying to extricate itself from decades of waywardness, and it is not easy, but they are just human beings too

Are you aware the U.S. is many times as militarily capable as China and we were unable to fix things. Now it is China's turn to make fools of themselves just like the U. S. did. If the U.S. can't fix it, certainly China will not be doing that either.

Dude, obviously I was being sarcastic. We poured 200,000 troops into Iraq and more than a trillion dollars over 7 years, and left the ME far worse than what it was. No outside force can fix the ME.
What about a decent sized asteroid?
