To be fair, to ask our President about anything in the real world that is not him is to troll him.
 
We can pretty much take it as a given that he had no idea what the question was referring to and just kind of guessed at an answer.
 
To be fair, Trump was using his stock answer, 'they be great'. It is doubtful that Trump knows what Poland's role was in WWII.

Hey, the Germans were fighting Soviet Communism before it was cool. (But not wholeheartedly until after the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact had served its role in allowing them to occupy Poland, France, Belgium and the Netherlands).

Still, at least the USofA helped the guys with "God with us" on their belt buckles to defeat the godless commies. Right? Right?

Great news: Next year DJT gets to congratulate Japan on the 75th commemoration of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Maybe they can borrow London's Diaper Trump blimp and fly it over both cities.
