Conservatives trying to make government behave? What's next, peace between cats and dogs??

I have never heard conservatives argue that they should make government behave worse. In fact, they want to make government behave better. It is just most of the time, "behaving better" means not existing.

When has a conservative group been for controlling government abuse, though?

Shift the goalposts much?

Sorry, could not resist based on "cats and dogs".

That's the good Ghostbusters movie, not the Paul Feig abortion starring Sean Spicer in drag.

Government is not a thing that behaves or doesn't behave.

Humans can either use the government productively and efficiently or they can use it badly or not use it at all.

But it is always just a small group of people behaving badly. Not the government.

We could have effective and productive and efficient government doing a lot of social good.

But there are people who deliberately stand in the way of this.
