I spent 30 years being well paid applying logic and reasoning. Knowledge is useless unless you can apply it.

From the thread I strted Boolean Algebra and variations in symbolic systems have supersede Aristotle or classical logic string in the 20th century.

When making an argument or proof one defines terms.

In engineering one often does proofs to support a position or to convince yourself. A bit more complicated than syllogisms involving giraffes.

Have you applied logic in a situation where you have to face critique and on which there are consequences? Such as professional reputation and affecting jobs at a company? Applying logic when you are responsible for consequences?

I think not.

An armchair philosopher at best. You can respond on the Aristotle vs modern logic thread where it is clear what you cling to has passed into history.
