Cruz admits reality and suspends his campaign for the Republican Presidential Nomination

I wonder if he has something on Hillary, or behaps something on Bill that will make Hillary look foolish. I've read he's been bringing up old accusations of Bill raping people and why Hillary didn't do anything to stop it.

I'm sure he'll say anything and drag discourse to an even lower point than it is now. It can always get dirtier.

But what about the dump trucks full of filth that can spilled about Trump?
He's never had to worry about what he does in his personal life and his failings have just been part of scattershot jokes. But a truly focused and ruthless campaign to show the nation just what a disingenuous piece of shit he is would damage him among all but his most avid supporters.

Trump better be careful about attacking Hillary for supposedly defending her husband for supposedly raping women.

In October, GOP front-runner Donald Trump got a surprise endorsement from infamous boxer Mike Tyson. "He should be president of the United States," Tyson told the Huffington Post. "Hell yeah, big time!" Tyson said he liked Trump's business instincts: "The guy is winning fair and square, he's not bribing anybody."

Trump and Tyson are old friends who did business together in the late 1980s, when the real estate mogul promoted and hosted several of Tyson's fights at his Atlantic City casinos and even fashioned himself for a time as the boxer's "business adviser." And in a largely forgotten episode, Trump came to the boxer's aid during one the darkest moments of Tyson's career—his 1992 conviction for raping a beauty queen. To save the champ from being locked up, Trump pitched a highly controversial proposal that would have essentially allowed Tyson to buy his way out of prison. To some observers, it looked like Trump was engaging in a form of bribery—or at least attempting to rig the system.

Over the years, Tyson's bouts had been highly lucrative for Trump's casinos, which paid millions to host the fights but reaped millions more in revenues from the surge in gambling that resulted during these highly anticipated events. In 1991, Tyson seemed destined for one of the biggest fights of his career, a face-off with then-heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield. As the groundwork was laid for this epic bout, it seemed like Trump might lose this event to his competitors in Las Vegas.

I think there's a lot more things that Hillary can use against Trump, then there are things that Trump can use against Hillary. Unlike Clinton, Tyson was actually convicted of rape. It was Trump that tried to keep him from being convicted and I read that he recently pretended that Tyson was never convicted of rape. Trump constantly makes up his own facts.

If trump uses the personal attack approach he's going to spend a lot of money on adds. Debates will not permit them, news people should not report them without fully vetting them and Networks will constrain appearances on entertainment shows if the candidates use such as rumor and false stories on their visits.

Yeah there is an entertainment feature to campaigns. But, damn it, we're electing the leader if the free world and if profit whores are permitted to run free we won't have an election campaign we'll have a Survivor season.

PACs will do the attacking for Trump. The "No to Hillary!" fanatics will attack relentlessly. It won't just be Trump Hillary has to contend with. "Swift boat" style attacks will be relentless and plentiful.

Well, that will certainly be a change from every single fucking day for the last twenty years.

Interesting parallel. Didn't the asshole win the first season of Survivor?

How appropriate on Star Wars Day. Darth Vader has been dispatched, and Jar Jar Binks has the Republican nomination.

Campaign slogan:
“Yoosa should follow me now, okeeday?"

Domestic policy statement:
"Monsters out there, leaking in here. Weesa all sinking and no power. Whena yousa thinking we are in trouble?"

Foreign policy statement:
"Wesa got a grand army. That's why you no liking us meesa thinks."
Jar Jar Binks? No, he is the new baddy in Star Wars VII, McDonalds Drive Up Order Voice Guy. With the temper tantrums.

^^Both of these statements are correct.

I'll be hearing these ads ad nauseam. :(

Say it with me.

D-V-R! D-V-R! D-V-R!

Hey, hey!
Ho, ho!
Guess we'll have to watch H-B-O!

Will be a big PITA when football season starts, since I like to watch games live. I don't really care about other sports. I'll probably just play a lot of Skyrim, Fallout 3/NV/4. Maybe I'll also need some music.

I typically watch football games on 1 hour DVR delay to skip commercials. Usually sync up near the end.

The people have to feel a little lucky in Florida, Ohio. Thanks to North Carolina and Virginia the advertising dollars are getting spread around, so it isn't all in Ohio and Florida. Colorado and Iowa will probably get it bad too.

I doubt that I could watch football on a delay if I have the option to watch it live.

More swing states would be nice. In 2012 I upgraded Pandora so I could listen to music without having to hear the commercials. While I do think that NC, VA, CO, and IA will get plenty of attention, I think that partisans & PACs will simply spend more money, rather than scaling back ads. Central FL is probably going to get it worse than any other part of FL since this part of FL is seen, rightly or wrongly, as deciding who carries the state.

I'm otherwise. I can't handle all of the commercials. Soccer has spoiled me!

What FL needs most are a few polls showing that Clinton as a 20 pt lead. That could help reduce adverts. Though, it'd go from President to House ads.

B/W and mean music: Adolf Hitler ran the most brutal dictatorship of all time! He killed millions of people and waged a war that killed tens of millions more.

Color and happy music: Representative John Smith wants to make America stronger and safer. Give parents a choice of where to send their children to school. And bring jobs to his district.

Vote John Smith, Republican for House of Represenatives.

Ads, well depends on the ad. Some ads I actually like, most I feel neutral towards, some I really hate. Negative feelings on ads tend to be stronger than positive ones.

Such a lead for HRC would be nice. I don't want to see anything like this either.
