Well, Obama has had a ton of nicknames, including the notable use of his full name or even holding back on the first name and sticking with Hussein Obama. There has been Obummer, Nobama, Obola (that is a great one... blame Obama for an African disease outbreak), Oetc...

With Cruz being Canadian born with a Cuban father, is it time for liberals to actually get into the act and come up with an actually funny name?

How about "That Guy".

As in "Oh ... that guy. I think he ran for President once ... or he was in an Arby's commercial. I'm sure I've seen him somewhere".

I heard some commentator on a mainstream station say that Cruz is a smart man and a good politician. It is hard to stretch out an oxymoron into a whole sentence, but he did. What I don't understand is why anybody thinks Cruz's perpetual low level hate messages are "smart." There is such a thing as getting your message across, but it is far more important to have a message that actually helps people. Cruz lacks that kind of smartness. So we really ought to be calling him "Dopey."
 
I have been calling him Ted Crud. He is so far to the right now, he has no chance of ever being more than a jingo spouting bomb-thrower.

Well he's a White/Cuban Canadian. His Mom was Eleanor Elizabeth Darragh Wilson (sounds Irish to me) and his dad was Rafael Bienvenido Cruz (if you've never seen this ugly excuse for a human being preach, try it, it's like being lectured by Ricky Ricardo.)

So passing on the really insulting slurs (one Google result came up as McSpic) I suggest either Greenbean, or Latte, or maybe Heinz 57 (many varieties). Too bad he's not Jewish, that's a whole other level of funny.

Anyway, I think this Canadian needs his very own birther movement.
