So now that Pete Hegseth has clearly been found to engage in war crimes, we can easily see him changing his story faster than a knife fight in a phone booth.

First he denied ordering the second strike. (Not that the first strike was legal). Then he said Admiral Bradley of JSOC gave the order. He set him up to take the fall, claiming that he is a great American hero. Now he claims he didn’t see them:
WTF? Why the fuck would you order a second strike at all if it had exploded and was on fire, you moron!!
Seriously, this whole operation is fucked up and a war crimes. The SOUTHCOM’s own JAG even said that these strikes were illegal. No one can justify these strikes at all. This is pathetic.

So what’s the real deal? Trump just pardoned the former Honduras president who’d been convicted of drug trafficking. Bottom line is he wants Venezuelan oil. And Marco Rubio wants to kick out the only pillar the Cuban regime has left to help it.

Lawmakers in both the House and the Senate have started inquiries into the "double tap" strikes, which critics have said could constitute a war crime.

"I didn't personally see survivors," Hegseth told reporters during a Cabinet meeting at the White House on Tuesday. "The thing was on fire. It was exploded in fire and smoke. You can’t see it."
He added, “This is called the fog of war.”
