Let's see. He mistakenly called 9/11 by 7/11. He said Muslims were cheering on tops of buildings in New Jersey. He said he helped to clear a little bit of rubble. None of that was true...or was it??

Perhaps he was completely somewhere else in a 7/11 parking lot, shoveling some rocks. People nearby saw him and started sarcastically applauding and so he assumed they were Muslims?

Man I really wish there were better (as in, "more accurate") things to criticize Trump for. The Anti-Trump campaign has been really coming off like the BLM dindu nuffins... much ado about nuffin.

Firstly, Trump WAS at ground zero, as the article admits. Secondly, he 'helped' at ground zero like his role would..."sending people to assist (over 100 people, at that). When a president sends troops to 'help' with a war, no one criticizes him for not donning a uniform and parachuting out of an airplane with the infantry.

Can't we do better than this to keep this windbag out of office? This does NOT help! How about some articles that dissect his proposed policies and reveal them as complete shit? I want to read those!

I don't want to read these articles that have headlines that read "Don is a shit" and then find out that the content is completely a confirmed lie, or worse, actually fully supportive of him doing something positive, as was in this particular case.

How many actual policies with real details has he actually proposed?

How do you dissect "make Mexico pay for it"? Have you seen John Oliver's analysis of Trump's wall proposal?

Yeah, he misspoke, no big deal there. I'm sure there are plenty of things to criticize him on; this one is nothing.

This is right up there with 57 Stategate.

Clearly that type of misspeaking on numbers disqualifies one to be president.

I'm sure there are plenty of actual things to criticize besides a lack of fine detail... but when the media pulls this BLM-like shit it does exactly for the quality of politics that BLM does for racism.

and seven-11 versus sept-11 is not even a bad slip.. it is a totally human one. SEPT / SEV.... it is a linguistic inevitability to slip that up. go ahead.. say it nine times fast...

So when you have something so incredibly benign 'Trumped Up" in the media, smart people (you know, like the ones that bother voting) think, hmm... if that is the best criticism there is, then this guy can't be that bad!

If the black man that robbed that house and got shot by the homeowner is the great example of racism in America, then I guess racism is all but over and done with. OK then...

Trump has virtually no platform, his tax plan will cause a trillion plus deficit annually, he has shown absolutely no ability to have any restraint (a characteristic needed for a President).

"The media"? I didn't hear about this on NPR. Probably not leading on CNN or MSNBC either.

Relax. Trump is getting fish-slapped about it because it's dumb funny.

God, stop being so hard on the guy. If you didn't decide to be serious about running for President until eight months into your campaign, you'd be behind on putting together a platform too. It's not like he's hired people to double check his numbers for him or anything. For someone who's tossing everything together at the last minute, he's not doing too badly, particularly since he has no interest in bothering to toss shit together.

If he can just keep yelling until November, perhaps nobody will notice and then he'd have an entire government bureaucracy to figure things out for him.
