We are only 105 days away from election day! If you are not yet registered to vote and mean to do so, get busy. Take somebody with you.

Recent polls show the Democrats have an 8 point lead in the general ballot. Women voters seem to be energizing and there is a wicked gender gap developing. A couple of more big screw up from Trump can still be accomplished in 105 days. Recent reports from the experts show the Democrats just might be able to pull off an upset.

sadly i predict a lot of hype and little to no political action as a consequence of that hype.
dems might pick up a few seats but any they get will be offset by the continued presence of solid republican seats - IMO right now jerry-mandering and geographic demographics are such that it's functionally impossible for democrats to get a majority.
it's like basically republicans have locked up 55% of the government, dems have 40%, and the other 5% is up for grabs at any given time... even if the dems have a 7.8%+ spread on capturing that 5% it isn't going to matter when all is said and done in a winner-controls-all governing system.
