Eliminating academic standards would still mean few blacks in "elite" schools

Oh, and about this title

Eliminating academic standards would still mean few blacks in "elite" schools

Students at Fisk, Morehouse, Spelman, Dillard, Howard, Clark Atlanta, Hampton and Tuskegee will be surprised to know that.

You could be literally right about that.
There was a recent study which found that testosterone injection makes women better at spatial navigation. Even single injection has an effect.
So it looks like even though women have basically the same brain, hormones force them to use it differently.

Male and female brains do develop differently but this does not make women less fit for strenuous academic work or for math or science than men.
They are fit, as long as they wear these testosterone patches. According to latest research anyway.

Barriers exist due to discrimination. For example, women's admissions to Harvard only reached parity in 2007, which is not very long ago. And only did so because of the fierce advocacy of women, working to end the discrimination against women at Harvard. Harvard is very quick to point out that (finally) they are admitting up to 170 black students. Out of nearly 1700 seats in the freshmen class. Including one student who was admitted to all 7 Ivys and another who was offered admissions at 5.

Once again, you're treating a disparate result as proof of discrimination.
