Which is hardly surprising given a social science that has, since the 1840s, been trying to expunge all reference to class.
Most economists deal with an idealized world. And for many that idealized world is politicized as well.
Which is why they are so often so wrong about the real one and not able to make many accurate predictions even as little as a year out.
