A former CIA officer now running for Congress as a Democrat has accused a Republican super PAC of “improperly obtaining her entire federal security clearance application” and “using it for political purposes.”

The PAC responded that it had obtained her application through a Freedom of Information Act request,

The GOP has gone bananas and think anything goes now. FOIA?! Seriously?! A security clearance form?!!?!?!?

Apparently she used to be a Postal Inspector before she joined the CIA. The position requires a security clearance, so the Postal Service would have done a background check and kept the info on file.
