I ran across an article, link below. Before reading you might like to be an experimental subject. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to guess the hidden celebrity.There are two slightly different experiments. Use either or both. Stare at the + for about 1 second. Stare at the first pic (anti-face) for about 6 seconds. Stare at the other pic for a second and see who.

Adaptation to antifaces.
We all know that staring at an anti-color and then looking at a neutral (white or gray) the "color" appears.
Here we find that staring at an anti-face (like an anti-color) and then at the neutral face (like white background) the original face appears.
Our visual system can process an anti-face and somehow generate a negative after-image. Who knew! (And who guessed!)
For me these work better than the female faces above. (stare at anti- for 6, then at probe [100% androgynous])
