Remarkable how slavishly he follows it. Why does he find it more convincing than his aides talking to him in person? He does not like to read, and he likes his briefing books to be full of pictures, but this seems grotesque.
Noting 30 times Trump directly echoed Fox & Friends in 2018 - YouTubeIt hasn’t been difficult to notice the pattern where Trump watches Fox and Friends, gets all fired up over a story — usually a dishonest one — and then immediately fires off a tweet about it, or adopts a position advocated on the show virtually verbatim within minutes of hearing it. Here’s a video with 30 instances of that happening.
There have been multiple reports that this is so glaring that his advisers, when competing with one another for his attention and trying to get him to adopt their position, schedule interviews on that show and on Hannity or Pirro’s shows because they know that if Trump hears it on Fox, he almost automatically believes it. This is no way to run a country, for crying out loud. It’s an absolute embarrassment.
