No, FOX blonde woman #248, we don't have to imagine it. We remember it, and it was much, much worse.

No I can't imagine Republicans treating Melania like the "ape in heels", as that would require a bit of intellectual honesty on the Republicans part.

We are treating the First Escort of the United States much better than they treated Michele, and they're still crying about it. Fucking snowflakes.

You know some of these people know that. It does make me wonder, of the public masses that Faux Noise appeals to, how much of this is something they actually forget, or if it falls under the heading of 'that's different because reasons' kind of thought?

It wasn't two days after the election that they were suddenly 'if you don't like the president, leave the country' and 'he won, get over it', etc. After 8 years of birth certificate bull shit, mock lynchings, and lots of overtly racist bullshit. We know they're hypocritical assholes. I just wonder if they're self aware enough to know they are.

Right-wingers get upset when Michelle Obama suggests a fruit for a snack for children. Michelle Obama carried herself around with strength and grace.

Right-wingers get upset when Melania is criticized for wearing a jacket pointing at her indifference. I think Melania stayed with Trump long enough to get her parents citizenship. She carries herself around like some sort of catwalk super star or Jackie Onassis, which is is neither.

Objection: Your spouse has nothing to do with getting citizenship for your relatives.

1) You can't apply for citizenship for someone else, period. All you can apply for is permanent residency (aka, green card.)

2) Your spouse has no part of you filing an application for someone else. The only paperwork they sign is the affidavit of support.

The only way it could be relevant if she was with His Flatulence is if she didn't have the income/assets for the affidavit of support and that only applies for the green card, not for citizenship.

You don't think a big part of streamlining the process has to do with who you know? I got a bridge to sell you. :D

You can't streamline what doesn't exist in the first place.

Besides, citizenship doesn't need any big help. Once you've had your green card long enough (IIRC it's 5 years, or 3 years if you got it by marriage) you apply for citizenship. Pass your test, take the oath, you're a citizen. No quotas or waiting list. Perhaps having somebody big behind you would make it happen a little faster but it wasn't a big deal when my wife went through it.

The green card is another matter--the process is very slow, having enough power might get your application expedited. Note that he wasn't in politics when this happened, though.
