Just watched a documentary on North Korea on NetFlix - if you get a chance please watch it and as i watched it and saw people speaking it chilled my blood - the very same words people use for God, these North Koreans were using for their "Dear Leader"
A Tsunami strikes killing hundreds but a baby is saved! Praise the Lord!
In North Korea person after person kept saying, "We are so happy, we have no problems and it is all due to the vision and teaching of our great leader, Kim Jong-IL"
The documentary people were not allowed to roam freely, they only saw what the Koreans wanted them to see - different classes show up in this country - the well-connected get the plum jobs and get to live the good life, the vast majority suffer - kind of like heaven and hell - religions like christianity and islam have heaven reserved for themselves - they are the well-connected and the vast majority of humanity who are not christians or muslims will get to suffer in hell
The documentary intones on how these people are sooo brainwashed - made me laugh out loud - so are millions, nay billions, in the free world. Just goes to show what the fear of death and the prospect of an easy good life will do to people
