he came over immediately after the gun went off and explained what happened, he was visibly shaking and the girl was in his doorway sobbing.
he immediately went out and bought me a new TV, and had the wall patched by the end of the day.
so, yeah - nobody was hurt (except my TV) and he took immediate responsibility for his idiot mistake, so... i didn't call the cops, because i didn't figure there was any value in him getting multiple felony charges for being a dipshit in a way that didn't hurt anyone.

but it was certainly an interesting experience.

And some of my neighbors apparently had a domestic. Not sure what happened, but an ambulance was there and then later police showed up but found nobody. Whoever was not taken by the ambulance either also went with or else was not answering the door when the police were banging on it for five straight minutes.
There is also a blood stain on the concrete walkway. This Corona shit is driving everybody crazy!

Two arrested after large fight with knife, gun in south Fargo

Two people are facing charges after a large fight in south Fargo last week.
20-year-old Seleena Emmalya Meas and 22-year-old Gazmen Sulejmani were arrested for terrorizing and aggravated assault.

At least they were wearing masks. I wonder if they were provided by the arresting officers in the first place.

This one takes the cake just because of who the perps are:

Two NFL players are wanted for allegedly robbing partygoers at gunpoint

Several victims at the house party allege that Baker and Dunbar stole thousands of dollars in cash from them as well as valuable watches while armed with weapons, according to the arrest warrant.

Isn't thousands of dollars peanuts compared to what these handegg players are making? SMH.

But on showcase here is the fact that humans sometimes just go off the rails crazy for short periods of time, and that this is to be expected; the availability of a firearm in these situations turns what would be a mere Karen-esque public freakout into a blood bath.

This is why I opted for a hatchet over a gun. It’s more deliberate. It allows for a moment of reflection. There’s none of this ‘wishing the bullet back in the gun’ stuff. If you’re gonna go off the deep end, a hatchet makes it up close and personal. It’s that long moment when you’re walking with malicious intent toward the person that can turn a swing of the blade into a reconsideration.
