There is a decent amount of buzz online about the news that Babylon 5 is coming back on the CW. Now, I'm sure you aren't still fuming about the network that cancelled Veronica Mars, and can look forward to all of this glorious hype!
Of course, it really matters which article you read.
If one isn't too careful, they might think this is a done deal, but the reality is, the creator is working on writing a pilot, presumably at the CW's request. This much was confirmed by him. So you can put away your Centauri wigs and wait a bit longer. The Pilot isn't even completed, forget about a Pilot episode produced... and then a series greenlit. But feel free to ask yourself, is a reboot really what we want? Can he possibly make this work... and on the CW nonetheless?
In total geek world, Straczynski would team up with Whedon, and MacFarlane and blow our minds. But B5 likely isn't happening, so that likely won't either.

article said:A new version of the Emmy-winning space opera television series Babylon 5 is in the works. The CW has put in development Babylon 5, described as a “from-the-ground-up reboot” of the critically acclaimed 1990s series, from original series creator J. Michael Straczynski and Warner Bros. Television.
