I hope that there will be an agreement that satisfies Denmark's and Greenland's valid concerns about sovereignty.

I think that the defenses of Greenland should be boosted but I'd much rather that happens as a part of NATO. Of course the Piece of Shit doesn't like NATO. That's because he's a piece of shit.

I read that the vague wording is in reference to this: Greenland cannot make any deals with China and Russia for investments (probably resources) without US (Trump) approval. It's going to go to Greenland and Denmark for parliamentary approval. This seems related to the Donroe Doctrine.

As we know written agreements do not matter to Trump.

In the old movies it was a cliche for somebody in inelegance or the military to be threatened with being posted to a remote site in Greenland if they fouled up.

So Trump says that the US and Denmark have come to an agreement that the US can beef up military presence in Greenland for defense of Greenland and North America.

So how is this any different than the 1951 treaty between the US and Denmark that allowed the US a pretty much free hand to put defensive military assets in Greenland to defend Greenland and North America?
