Why are you making apologies for this shit?

It's nothing that people haven't said for well over a century - there's nothing positive built up around "whiteness", it's all hatreds and grievances and delusion, in the service of making a small number of (white) people wealthy and outright exploiting the rest.

...Which, I mean, "white pride", "white power"...let's be honest, those things suck.

To be honest, so does "black power" and "black pride". The fundamental problem with race relations in this country is this idea that it's not ok calling non-white people on their racism.

Nope. Native Americans, of course, had their own structures, religions, rituals, and so forth long before anyone else got here.

Black Americans, having been excluded from "white" and supposedly "American", long since built up traditions, culture , religions (some better than others, to be sure), rituals of various sorts (from Juneteenth to Kwanzaa to black versions of various Christian holidays to Memorial Day), their own priorities (loudly pro-education and pro-democracy), organizations (HBCUs, the Divine Nine, 100 Black Men, etc), and so forth.

Only "White" tradition I can think of are lynch mobs, hate rallies, and the like. They like to glomp onto American traditions, but in the end that's all contradicted by "Pride" in some assholes who spent four years in rebellion against America to defend racist slavery, 150 years ago. Again, all of that sucks.

I would think either or both of these institutions would have a code of ethics for their physicians and it is worth investigating whether publically advertising your murderous rage and race-based fantasies about killing white people might conflict with her ministering to their mental health.

Yes, but I'm not a patient of Khilanani. If I were, though, I think I would indeed complain. I think it would be neglectful for a psychiatrist to fail to inform me, before she begins treating me, that she believes me to be psychopathic by reason of my race, that she is enraged by me as a white person, that her working model of therapy is that my mental problems have their origin in my whiteness, and that she has a history of violent fantasies of murdering white people and becoming a folk hero for doing so.

Obviously your mileage may vary.

I wonder if Khilanani will face any consequences or will she be allowed to carry on like nothing happened. I hope she has the conviction to stand by what she said.

Based on your snippet, I don't see what the problem is? Having fantasies and acting on them is a world apart. If this is a psychiatrist speaking it is entirely appropriate to be open and honest about every aspect of her inner life. I too have homicidal thoughts sometimes about people. Especially those who cut the line in the grocery shop.

But that said, she does look and sound like the standard woke speaker, pandering to her crowd. But I have no problem with them.

If we try to shame the wokes into silence we're no better than them.

An animal in the jungle has to fight to survive.

These moments of rage in the mind are merely a reminder we are animals.

Some are honest about their moments of rage and some pretend to not have them.

If a person controls their rage they have not sinned.

They have shown restraint.
