Well, a couple tracks dropped for Wilson's newest album The Harmony Codex. Sounds like a convergence of The Future Bites and To The Bone. I remember early releases for Hand Cannot Erase and Raven and being on the fence. Those two albums were absurdly good. I'm on the fence at the moment again with the preview tracks. This sounds like a Signify (enduring experience) like album. The deluxe set, priced at just under $70 (reasonable) is already sold out. The Blu-ray is just $20 and includes all the mixes (sans instrumental one).
The overall reaction to his last album was mixed, from raging angry to disappointed. These tracks seem to indicate he is pushing away from The Future Bites, but not fully. One issue I had with Impossible Tightrope was despite its 10 minute length, it felt like it was always just scratching the surface of something good.
