First, I know some users will say this should be posted in Political Humor. But I've premised this post on remarks made on the record by the 47th President, in the White House, which is about as official as things get. (Stepping out of character for one second -- it's dead serious when a U.S. President displays himself in public with this sort of claim.) Here's the quote:
"We identified and stopped fifty million dollars being sent to Gaza to buy condoms for Hamas. Fifty million. And you know what's happened to them? They've used 'em as a method of making bombs. How 'bout that?"
This is our chief exec talking, folks. He's privy to the most sensitive information and the best strategic thinkers. Since he gave us this tantalizing hint at prophylactic IEDs, we deserve the rest of the story. How exactly are these rubbers being weaponized? What is inside them? Has the IDF had to devise special gear and artillery to combat them?
If you have any Special Ops experience with jimmy hat bombs, or if you simply have studied resistance movements and their tactics (i.e., Hogan's Heroes, The Complete Series), please give us your insights. What should American troops expect if we go into Gaza and encounter this weapon?
A few additional details:
1- The President later cited a figure of one hundred million dollars, which indicates the problem is even more troubling than we thought. (How many hundreds of millions went to Gaza rubbers before Trump identified and stopped the current transfer?)
2- Because he had to keep this weave short, he never got around to Arnold Palmer, so I'm not sure there's an Arnie connection. Presumably, an Arnie condom would amaze all the guys in the locker room.
3- Does Pete Hegseth have the background to deal with exploding condoms? Is this a case where Matt Gaetz should be called back into action?
