This is not for this page only, it is just an example.

This is the video for what its worth:

This video was on a tab that only had it on it (meaning there were not 20 other pages before it). However this tab has been open for about 5 days.

The 2.4 GB is gone, because when I force closed it - it restarted and the video played again. Now it is only 112 MB.

Is there a memory leak going on?

I have not upgraded and on about 8 months behind schedule, but an worried that the new OS might be even worse.

You-tube likes to load stuff in the sidebar--and reload stuff in the sidebar periodically. It also likes to play another movie after you're done with one.

It could also have been the default video quality before versus after... 4k video quality would be huge compared with 360p.

Aren't all web browsers hogs these days? I thought Firefox was slim at one point. I have two tabs open and it is using 1.1 GB.
