How will Trump be disabused of himself, his family and cronies attempting to blatantly cash in now?

First, I think that this may not happen until after the 2018 election, when the Dems should have the numbers to appoint a special prosecutor.

But, what I think may happen before that is the Trump team will do blatantly illegal or unethical things bringing serious heat and then there will be someone with the force of personality brought in like Rahm Emmanuel or Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction. Someone who is publicly a yes man, but privately a ball buster. We can only hope Trump is too dumb, greedy and thin-skinned to know that is what he needs.

His job will be to say, "listen I don't care who you are, but you cannot make this illegal deal - you can't talk to the Argentinian president about a permit." Even Trump and Trump junior will listen to him, because that is the only way they won't risking going to jail or having a massive fine.
 
If you really care about this you should pay $500,000 to get Hillary to give you a speech on how to keep politicians from getting rich off government.

Virtually every single criticism of Trump I have seen is countered not by a defense of Trump, because honestly there is no defense to the vast majority of the criticisms, but by an attack on Hillary. Well, folks, Hillary is in the past now, so you have to stand behind your President and stop blaming other people for his failings. All that talk about "crooked Hillary" and we are about to see arguably the most corrupt President ever step into the White House. And he isn't even bothering to hide it. And the Republicans in the Congress will prove that they're too interested in riding on Trump's coattails to actually stand up to him. When Trump said he's not beholden to special interests, he was telling the truth -- he is his own special interest. He's cutting out the middle man.

I didn't say he wasn't. I didn't make him win either. But my point is that when faced with a valid criticism of Trump, an attack on Hillary is a meaningless defense. Especially now. So, thanks for avoiding the point of my post, because, again, you have no defense against what was said.
