A man who ran into a Dallas County jail screaming for help ended up dying when Sheriff’s deputies piled on top of him and handcuffed him Saturday, WFAA reports.

The 47-year-old man, who has not been identified yet, apparently parked his car at the county jail and ran in screaming that his wife was out to kill him. But instead of helping him, witnesses told WFAA that deputies took him to the ground and handcuffed him. One had his knee on the man’s neck.

. . .

A nurse was called and CPR was administered, but the man died, WFAA reports.

Are police officers really this unaware of the type of press they've been getting lately?

I'd like to suggest that a #TexasCop get started to take a bit of the heat off of #FloridaMan.

When can we expect a full report of the irrelevant factoids of this man's life and why he deserved to be killed?

It's already started. Someone claimed narcotics were found in the guys vehicle as if that's justification for the cop dogpile because they obviously used their cop esp to discern there were drugs in his vehicle.

Not very long as it turns out.
Dallas Morning News said:
Authorities have identified the man as 48-year-old Joseph Sheldon Hutcheson. He spent nearly five months in Dallas County jail last year in connection with earlier possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest offenses. He also had a pending public intoxication charge in Arlington at the time of his last jail stay.

Dallas County records show a long list of arrests for DWI, evading arrest, resisting arrest and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. One of the conviction was for cocaine possession.

In Tarrant County, he also has a long criminal history stretching back to a conviction for a car burglary he committed when he was 17.

Some officers are stationed behind the man’s black pickup truck, which remained parked on Commerce Street.

Reyna said deputies saw what “appeared to be narcotics” in the truck.

However, we do not even know the man's cause of death is
The Dallas County medical examiner’s office will determine the man’s cause of death, and the findings will be included in the sheriff’s investigation, Reyna said.
Maybe it was due to an underlying medical problem triggered by the drugs and police bringing him down. Or maybe he was a delayed reaction to being poisoned by his wife.

I knew we could count on you.

Looks like a white dude. It would be politically incorrect to say his life matters.

One thing is for certain. His name is not going to become a hashtag.

Well it does need to be determined to what actually happened.

What is his name? Let's make this a hashtag alongside #alllivesmatter

I am really confused about faux-liberal rules for whose lives matter and whose don't.
Because it is clear that all lives don't matter to them.
I am confused. Are you saying O'Malley is not a faux liberal or that you know that the booers in the audience are faux liberals or that you know all lives do not matter to them?
