Lesbian Strength march through Leeds city centre challenged by trans rights activists

A group of around 50 women met in City Square at 2pm with signs and banners that had slogans such as 'Lesbian is not a bad word' and 'Lesbian love is beautiful'.

They then set off in procession down Boar Lane but were soon followed by a similar sized group of counter demonstrators chanting, "we're here, we're dykes, we stand for trans rights."

Police were careful to keep the two marches separate as both made their way down Boar Lane.

My impression is that trans have more Wokémon points than lesbians (unless they're black, refugee, Muslima, amputee, lesbians, I guess). But who wins here? As someone with negative Wokémon points, I can watch only from the sidelines.

Who wins? The people who demand others recognize the validity of their identities and then go on to arbitrarily reject the validity of other people's identities? Or the people who accept all identities as valid.

Ah yes, such reliable sources as Red State and Christian Post. Can you perhaps find any sources reporting the story that don't contain enough spin to twist a sane person's head clean off?

It's like Trausti's story that completely fails to mention that they are TERFs being protested.

I posted it as an example of a veiled threat of violence from the anti trans or at least anti munchausen by by proxy via trans (in HIS opinion).

Now, if there were red flag facts about the mental state of the mother there is a good chance rhat a left wing agenda reporter would ignore or omit these signs.

The right wing side reporters are just as bad in having agenda be their filter.

If this was Munchausen by proxy via imagined transgender son (hypothetical, not assertion) would a Vice or Daily Beast reporter be reticent to cover it?

Possibly, some sources would be reticent to report on a crazy woman doing terrible things to their young child under an insane belief that they are trans.

I have, in fact, been introduced to far more awful situations (like Gypsy Rose, who conspired to murder her mother who did horrible things involving medical treatments, including surgical, under the auspices of the mother's delusions). I fully admit that, due to the rule of large numbers, there is AT LEAST one parent in the world who is pushing their child into an unethical transition. This is, potentially, just such a parent. It is, however, also part of the situation that the father, who has been ordered against such action by a not-mentally-disturbed judge, has been attempting to "instil a 'christian' view of biblical gender roles". That fact in and of itself leads me to believe that there is something more significant going on here. Also, the claim of "chemical castration" and "permanence" involved reeks both of sensationalization and outright lies as to how transitions normally happen; puberty blockers are not permanent.

Even "chemical castration" for adults is not permanent. And I can fully see how some insane fucking religious zealots would sell going through girl puberty as "permanent chemical castration", so this whole set of reporting reeks of spin and bias, and without some reporting from some other source that isn't literally a right wing rag well known for, well, "lying for Jesus", it's impossible to assess the veracity of any of their claims against what may really be going on.
