INTERVIEWS BEFORE EXECUTIONS A HIT PROGRAM IN CHINA

With and estimated 5,000 executions per year in China since no official statistics are produced. A program called INTERVIEWS BEFORE EXECUTIONS which is shown on TV in Hunan province. One thing is for sure and that is there is a lot of subject matter.

When I lived in China some news media did mention some Think Tanks in the PRC have discussed abolishing the death penalty.

Nowadays a death sentence has to go through 3 courts.

However the number of capital offences has been reduced from 68 to 45.

This would be an even bigger hit in the USA now that the idea is out.
