Do explain the "social phenomenon" of a symbol of the most repressive and regressive of the large religions becoming associated with those who view themselves as "liberal" and "progressive".

I didn't even start this thread. I merely asked Lord Kirian to explain his view.

As you say, "duh". That religious Muslims are pushing a symbol of Islam is obvious. That nobody is starting threads on that is not because people don't know that, but that it is too obvious to talk about.

Self-declared "liberals" and "progressives" pushing the hijab, for example during the Women's March, is definitely more note- and discussion worthy.

Remember, they are real people too... It's not just the scary liberals out there destroying western civilization.

But that does not mean that so-called "liberals" are not aiding and abetting them.
And by that I mean not true liberals, but people who defend Linda Sarsour, Hamas, etc. and who demonize Ayan Hirsi Ali et al for criticizing Islam.
