Interesting things that (almost) no one in my FB feed is talking about.

1.) We (as in the USA) are bombing Iraq again.
2.) The Ninja Turtles movie is somehow #1 in America.

Interesting facts I just realized:

March 30th, 1990: Release of original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.
August 2nd, 1990: Invasion of Kuwait by Baathist Iraq.
January 17th, 1991-February 28th,1991: Operation Desert Storm
March 22nd, 1991: Release of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze"

Conclusion: The bombing in Iraq will continue until the next Ninja Turtles film is ready for distribution.

(Perhaps this belongs in Freethought Humor... then and again many of the PD posters are not aware they are jokes...)

I was too young to really care about Desert Storm and was paying way too much attention to the Ninja Turtles movie at the time to even notice.

Now my son is 5 and in the exact same position.

Are we still gonna be dealing with this shit 25 years from now?
