More than 300 in two years, across Europe??? OMFG!!!! that's one eighth of the number of people killed in Spain alone in motor vehicle crashes.

In 2016 alone, across the EU, 25.500 people died in road crashes. That means that the risk to British tourists from motor vehicles is at least 170 times greater than their risk from terrorists - probably somewhat more than that, as British Tourists are used to vehicles using the other side of the road.

And yet Europol, the UK Government, and the Daily Mail are all derelict in their duty to warn British tourists in Europe to be vigilant when visiting the EU, lest they become a casualty of the road carnage.

For each and every person killed by terrorists in Europe, 170 people died in road traffic crashes.

Get a fucking grip; vigilance when crossing the road or driving a car is important; Vigilance against the 'threat' of terrorism is of value only to the fear-mongers who want to sell newspapers and restrict citizen's rights and freedoms. And it is 0.0059 times as important as being careful on the roads, and deserves proportionally less news coverage. Do we see 170 Daily Mail articles and TFT threads on how to safely drive on an Autobahn for each article about terrorism? No? Why do you imagine that is?

Perhaps being hit by a van makes you 170 times more dead if it is driven by a Muslim extremist, than it does if it is driven by a dutch teenager who is busy texting her boyfriend?

What we are seeing in the press is reports of terrorist attacks. We shouldn't ignore this. There are 3,500 hardcore persons on a watch list including those who have traveled abroad to fight for ISIS in Syria Libya and Iraq and go for to various training camps.

What the government should do is bar any of these from entering the UK.

As you said, more people die in road crashes and also due to errors in hospitals. This does not mean we should do nothing. In fact for each attack dozens have been foiled.

So persons who's relatives have been blown up, can be comforted by the fact that they would most likely have been killed in a car crash anyway.

With recent rises to a net increase in 300,000 people arriving each year while just over 100,000 houses are built during the same period. (This is deducting the amount of people who leave the UK against arrivals.


Further the UK has at least 2 million houses short, most of which would be for 'affordable' government rents. Thus on this basis alone we are continuing to pack people from all over the world into the UK.

It caused a great deal of financial problems at the local harbor, forcing several fishing companies into bankruptcy and allowing the largest surviving one to become even bigger and more powerful, allowing them to corner the market and operate in a monopolistic fashion for the last century and a half and the lack of competition has allowed them to artificially raise the prices of fish in order to line their own pockets.

So, it has a shitload to do with it.

However Cod, Plaice and Haddock were still cheap and plentiful till we joined the EU Then the commission allocated some of our waters to other member countries forcing our fishermen to poach off the African Mainland.

Prior to the EU the UK and Iceland engaged in what was known as the Cod War which was finally settled in 1976.
