What is wrong with fear and suspicion of Islam? From its inception its been a war mongering, terrorizing, human rights abusing frenzy. We only have the respite now because the Ottoman Empire collapsed under its own inertia. But - unlike, say, Christianity - Islam's early spread was not by unarmed itinerant priests but sword wielding maniacs.

Much of the world was colonized and Christianized by Christians.

If someone said he belonged to a group which adheres to a belief that non-followers must be made subservient or die, that slavery and rape of non-followers is just, that learning (other than study of the Koran) is a sin, that music must be prohibited, that a woman who is raped is to be punished for adultery, that you must stop whatever you are doing to pray five times a day - wouldn't you think the fellow to be a little bit off? Wouldn't you think others who followed that belief system to be off, too? But, no. The West, dispensing with Christianity, has adopted the new religion of multiculturalism/cultural relativism. Western Civilization will crumble from its pathological politeness.

Rape is a sin in Islam.

Why are people so blind to the problem?

The problem is not Islam or Christianity, two absurd belief systems.

The problem is when people who represent these belief systems have actual power.

The only question people have to answer is; Why do religious leaders and agents of religion in the ME have so much power today?

Have there been events or forces in the last 100 years that helped religious leaders, and agents of religions like the Saudi dictatorship, gain and maintain power?

We know why religious leaders have very little actual power in the US. Except of course when true religious believers, like Bush, become president and invade because their god told them to. Our wall of separation.

Most of mine would, but seriously, what the fuck does that have to do with any of the bullshit you just got done spewing about killing and enslaving nonbelievers?

An anti-Islam group which staged an armed protest outside a Dallas Islamic centre has posted names and addresses of Muslims and “Muslim sympathisers” on its Facebook page, adding to growing tensions in north Texas following the Paris terror attacks.

The group, which calls itself the Bureau of American Islamic Relations, staged an armed protest outside an Islamic centre in the Dallas suburb of Irving last Saturday. “We’re here protesting Syrian refugees coming to America, protesting the Islamisation of America,” David Wright, a spokesman, told local FOX4 News.

The list of more than 50 names is taken from a record of people who spoke or signed up to express an opinion at an Irving city council meeting in March where the council voted to endorse a planned state bill emphasising the already enshrined primacy of domestic laws above foreign laws.

Now let's just hope no one ends up dead because of this. But by all means, post some more fearmongering horseshit about how all Muslims should be viewed as a threat.
