Context!
In Palestinian-speak, "resist" and "resistance" refer to killing Israelis, especially non-combatant Israelis.
Besides, she is explicitly rejecting non-violence. That only leaves violence.
So your "context" is mind reading and making up the meaning that you want. Got it.
The poem rejects 'succumb[ing] to the "peaceful solution."' No line in the poem rejects non-violence. You have the arrogance to claim to read her mind and tell me what she means. And coincidentally that happens to be exactly what you would like her to mean. I don't buy it, because it is bullshit.
When the "peaceful solution" is really an act of violence and oppression, refusing to succumb to that "peaceful solution" should be considered the virtue of a survivor. Maybe there is more room for interpreting a poem than you think and maybe people shouldn't be thrown in jail for words that ACTUALLY don't incite violence.
