Ugh...Peanuts. When Schulz died in 2000, I thought, maybe, just maybe this 'sublime, subtle, heart-warming' strip with kids who talk like kids have never in the universe talked would fade away, that you would no longer have keynote speakers start with a Peanuts chuckle ("So Charlie Brown answers back..."). Cut to 2014...Peanuts running as reruns in hundreds of papers, Met Life commercials with that irritating lounge piano theme song. I...HATE....CHARLIE BROWN. I would not only pull the football away from him, I'd add him as a character in 'M' and introduce him to Peter Lorre.
