Hopefully the below link will finally put to rest Colin Kaepernick's desire to play football:
IMO, he was always a below average QB who sought publicity to push his politics and get rich. I don't blame him! He'll make far more money than I ever will. I just hope that people stop trying to portray him as this wronged victim.
Well, he can want all he wants, but he won't get it based on merit. Part of his problem is that the NFL is moving to wanting younger QBs from the draft that they can control for 5 years. So many very capable veteran QBs are out of jobs. Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, Chase Macdanial and etc are all far better than Colin. Carson Wentz is somewhat of a comp for Colin. Wentz is also very polarizing and probably would be a distraction if signed as a backup. However, Wentz is white. Wentz is also far more talented than Colin.Hopefully the below link will finally put to rest Colin Kaepernick's desire to play football:

Phone is making me install an app for that...not doing that. Does the article say the same as this?

Colin Kaepernick seems to have 2 options if he wants to make football comeback, but QB doesn't seem interested
The XFL and CFL are interested in having the QB as part of their leagueswww.cbssports.com
It seems like CFL and XFL want him, but he wants NFL, Jets in particular. When some people want you, but you want something better, are you leveraging or just not wanting to settle? Does the MSN article clarify this?

Yes he did! He's a very wealthy person today.Part of his problem is that the NFL is moving to wanting younger QBs from the draft that they can control for 5 years.
I barely know a football from a basketball, I am nobody's expert.
But I remember someone who clearly was saying essentially the same thing on some other forum. He didn't think Kaep's performance was up to his price tag. And the NFL teams generally were shedding experienced players for younger, cheaper, more manageable talent. So Kaep knew he wasn't going to get resigned by anyone. He decided to go out with a bang.
And he did.

Kaepernick is 36. Granted, he hasn't been getting sacked for 7 years, but also... he has about 7 years of field rust.

That's a good point. Hard to keep up practicing without being challenged by very elite competitors. Either way, he should try to maximize a contract by leveraging how CFL and XFL want him and then take it. Use one offer to up the other offers. And eventually take one.
So you know that Kaepernick isn't advocating for a cause still because...?Lemme ask a question.
Given Kaep's money and fame, he could rent that stadium. He could draw huge crowds to attend a rally for BLM or whatever.
Has he ever done anything on that scale? Or was he only interested in doing performance art when someone else was paying the freight?

I honestly can't say I'm particularly that aware of it, but it sounds like you are even less aware of it.
