My goodness, 40 years go by in the blink of an eye. What a great event, the world’s biggest music acts performing at two venues and shown live on tv. Oh the memories. I think most people who saw this event will probably remember Queen as a stand out. But there were many great moments in this event. What’s your favorite (s)

I didn't watch it so I can't say what my favorite would be. But I know the Queen set is one of the most popular videos in the reaction video world.

I have to say it is probably one of the greatest live rock performance of all time. If you've been living under a rock and have not seen it...

Strange as it seems to me, since I am a music lover and collector, with emphasis on classical music and classic rock music, especially progressive rock and fusion, I do not remember anything from that event. It was in 1985, and I was 21 and in a band, writing and recording music at the time! But zilch, nada, I recall nothing about it in particular, except that I know I heard of it at the time, and heard about it since. One possible excuse is that I generally can't stand music festivals of any kind, and have never attended one or sought out recordings or films of them.
