Loss of Third Spaces

Daughter and I were talking about a youtube she saw on the change in how youth hang out - or don’t any more.
There is work space and there is home space. And the third space is what we do together outside of work or home. Hang outs, games, other togethernesses.

Thoughts on how the closure of hangout spaces that Xers and Boomers used become detrimental to the Millenials and Zoomers?
 
It's a problem I hadn't really thought about, but it makes sense that young people need these spaces for the sake of their social development.
