I am so sick of the people who "support his first amendment right to speech" but bend over backwards to say how dispicable his views are, that he is pro-hamas, pro Hezbollah, and supports the murder of Isralies.
Prove it. Put up or shut up. Please show me his exact words he has spoken or written that is consistent with this.
No, not some bullshit guilt by association. Being a member of a group does not mean you support everything the group has said or claims to stand for. "He is a member of the communist party and supports communism, and therefore supports Stalin and his war on the USA, the famine he caused resulting in millions of deaths, his torture and abuse."
Fuck that shit. Prove it directly based on his actual words or direct actions. Show me the direct evidence. Not heresay or guilt by association. Not baseless claims by a government that lies like you and I breathe air.
One can be against Israel dropping bombs on Gaza and annexing the West Bank, the US paying for those bombs, Israel not recognizing Palestinian independence, etc without being pro-Hamas, pro-Hezbellah, anti-US, pro destruction of Israel, antisemitic/Jew hate.
And honestly, I really don't have an opinion one way or the other. His views may very well be quite despicable. But the paupacity of evidence against him has been defamatory up to this point, in my view.
He was a negotiator. So what? He wanted to cut a deal for the university to divest from Israeli businesses. Being against the business interests of a country does not mean you support terrorists that also attack that country. You may want the war to stop and the Palestinian state to be recognized. No Hamas or Hezbollah support needed.
And the accusations that he was directly involved with trespessing or propery vandalsim. Prove it. He was never charged with any crime whatsoever afaik.
