And here's why: Many gynecologists are familiar with the female and male reproductive system. Sure not every gynecologist will agree to see a pre-op trans woman, but many do. Once a trans woman has had bottom surgery, they should definitely regularly see a gynecologist. Think about it: A post-op trans woman isn't any different than a cisgender woman that has had her reproductive organs removed. Even without ovaries, you still need someone to check you for STDs/STIs and regardless of how long you've had a vagina, bacterial or yeast or bladder infections can happen to anyone. And in that case, a gynecologist should be a trans woman’s go-to person. Just like a trans man can see a urologist.

The bold is interesting. Are you suggesting men should be able to go to ladies night and just say, "I'm a woman!" and they get to go in? Wow! This renders ladies night moot.
