President Trump unleashed a furious tirade against Vietnam veteran Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on Thursday morning amid their ongoing dispute over the White House’s characterization of a recent military raid targeting al-Qaida terrorists as a success.

...

Julie Tarallo, a spokesperson for McCain, released a statement responding to Trump’s latest “ragegasm”: “Senator McCain will continue to execute his oversight duties as Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee and support the brave men and women serving our nation in uniform.”
Man, it is starting to get ugly among Republicans, at least a few of them, the ones who apparently haven't lost all of their minds.

Although I am often disappointed in McCain, he does tend to stick to principles when it counts. Not always. But as far as hawks go, I loathe him the least. And at least he ain't a chicken hawk.

The stupid raid was a huge disaster. Massive civilian casualties, one American dead, the target missed, and Yemen outlawing future raids.

But the dictator claims it was a success.

And allegedly something we planned, not an attack on us like Benghazi.

We will clearly see the obsession over Benghazi was nothing but a political witch hunt as no Republicans will call for endless hearings.

This is a ragegasm:

well, maybe Trump will rage quit the presidency.

McCain's after-the-fact critiques, when its too late to matter, do little to make up for his highly damaging support for Trumps nominees, such his vote to support De Vos, who not coincidentally donated to McCain's re-election.
