How can you make a claim when you admittedly don't even know the meaning of the words you're using?

I say it in the next sentence.

Because language is what separates humans from all other animals.

Non-human animals may have forms of communication but they do not have human language.

And a great deal of human thought is in human language.

Take away language and you do not have humans as we know them.

Give man a language, and while speaking they frequently misunderstand each other. Take away language and then while grunting, hooting and dancing they frequently misunderstand each other. Spoken words are of course a more advanced form of communication and has led us to greater scientific and technological advancements.

One theory is that language did not evolve as a means of communication. It evolved as a means of thought, not communication.

And communication with language is a crude addition to the language ability.

Like the attempts at communication found on "IQ" tests.

Crude and arbitrary. Like all use of language for communication.
