He could have said a lot worse. It seemed to be yet another thing said by Trump that was said poorly, and best yet, should have just been left unsaid.

More importantly, I didn't hear him make light of the soldiers who died or were attacked. And the statement is two weeks after the attack.

Omarosa is a troll who has a bunch of tapes that prove Trump is a poor speaker, and the value of the tapes seem to be only click bait.
